COLLECTION OF CHILD

It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to collect their child from Mini Explorers Club on time. If the parent/guardian wishes for their child to be collected by someone else then it is their responsibility to inform Mini Explorers Club either by email, phone or text. Our number and email are on the contact form on the website. Email: miniexplorersclub@outlook.com. If the person responsible for collecting the child from Mini Explorers Club is persistently late then Mini Explorers Club have the sole discretion to refuse to allow the child to continue to attend sessions. In these cases no refunds, for prebooked sessions/session passes, will be issued by Mini Explorers Club.

LATE DROP OFF

Parents/guardians should do their best to arrive on time for their session. Due to the nature of our setting once a session has started we will have started walking up to our area, at the top of the woods, and once there will not be in sight or hearing of the gate. Any late drop offs will need to call the club phone number (supplied in the order confirmation) so that someone can come and meet them but please note this may involve waiting whilst a member of staff walks back down the path, from the top of the woods, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee how quickly this will be.

SICKNESS

Mini Explorers Club cannot accept children who have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours due to risk of passing it on to other children and staff at the club.

If your child is suffers from sickness or diarrhoea whilst they are at the club, we will call their parent/guardian to come and pick them up. Please see our Intimate Care policy for further details on sickness and our infection control procedures.

LUNCH CLUB

The lunch club discount only applies if lunch is eaten at one of the nominated eateries (for full list see our Facebook/website) and both a PO number (requested upon booking with eatery) and receipt are obtained from said eatery. Parents/Carers must add PO number to booking form and present receipt upon collection of child/children, from Mini Explorers Club, for our records and in order to be eligible for the discount.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

It is the responsibility of Parents/guardians to read Mini Explorers Club polices and procedures at time of booking a session and to ensure they are happy with the contents before their child attends a session.

There are mandatory forms for completion before any child attends a session with Mini Explorers Club and Mini Explorers Club will be unable to accept children in to a session without these forms having been signed and agreed to.

CLOTHING AND PERSONAL PROPERTY

Mini Explorers Club will do their best to ensure that your child’s clothing is protected from the art materials used by prividing aprons whenever possible, however we accept no responsibility for and damage to your child’s clothing before, during or after any of our sessions. We advise that child wears items of old clothing. All personal property should be clearly labelled to avoid loss of items.

EXPECTATIONS OF BEHAVIOUR

Mini Explorers Club is fully inclusive and aims to create a fun and safe environment at all times. It is imperative that all children attending Mini Explorers Club behave in an acceptable and safe manner as deemed by club staff (Lydia & Jade). Any concerns about behaviour will be brought to the parents/guardians’ attention whenever possible at the end of the session, in person or by phone or email, at the earliest convenience. Mini Explorers Club has the sole discretion to decide if the behaviour of an individual is unacceptable and in these instances the place will be cancelled and the parent/guardian given notice in writing. Cancellations as a result of unacceptable behaviour are not entitled to a refund but may be considered on an individual basis.
